Welcome to the Vocalconsort Leipzig

Founded in 1999 by Gregor Meyer, the current conductor of the Gewandhaus Choir, the Vocalconsort Leipzig has established its reputation with both sensitive and  lively interpretations of sacred choral music between the Baroque and Romantic periods. Each of the approximately 35 singers has received a substantial musical education and together, they enthral as a semi-professional ensemble with their youthful briskness and distinctive joy in music.
